The current state of Trail Mix.
I have seven more rows to add-two of them are even stitched together!

Fortunately, it's on the last row and near the edge.
I'll have to fix that.
Then because it's coming on smoothie time I bought a new blender.
Over the years I've had MULTIPLE blenders.
But none seems to work like I want.
So rather than continue buying and discarding blenders I bought this
A VitaMix.
It isn't the biggest or the most expensive but is considered the best overall.
Now, I just need to remember how to make smoothies!
We use our vitamix every single day. We love it.

DeleteHonestly, Trail Mix has kind of a randomness about the pattern, so if you weren't familiar with the pattern itself, would you see it as a mistake? But at this stage it is fixable, and that is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI love my Vitamix, and use it many times each week--mostly for smoothies, but for other things, too.
I think I would notice that the "Trail" wasn't going anywhere! You are right though that it seems random, it's actually very structured as far as block placement goes. I am glad I found it now instead of 6 months from now or 6 years as I just discovered some 6 years after I made the little houses quilt that one of the doors is upside down!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a really interesting design. I’m terrified of checks and stripes but wow - what a terrific effect they create in this quilt. Have fun with the Vitamix. Finding reasonably priced quality products is a challenge these days.

DeleteI have been looking into blenders to get one for my digestive system challenged baby grand. He isn't doing so well since adding solids to his diet. Let me know how you like this one.
ReplyDeleteI like this one! It works better than any of the others. Sorry the baby's having difficulty, stick with the easy to digest stuff. Maybe it will just take time for his body to adjust.
