A little catching up!

I've been rather silent here for a bit, only a little stitching going on
BUT
I did at long last finish re-arranging my studio! (The final messy place.)
So I though I'd give you a tour.
If you come in the door straight ahead and on your right you see the tables I use to sew on.
One is 6 foot and is currently where I'm working on Trail Mix.
Usually, Belle the Bernina is parked there as I do my quilting on that machine.
The other is a 4 foot table but I made it longer by putting an Ikea cabinet next to it.
I actually filled the cabinet with the things I use often while sewing - and to be honest the things I had no idea what to do with!
Either, Jill the Janome or Edna the Elna are parked here.
Between the two tables is my treadle machine, holding Trail Mix off the floor.
I even put my small design wall back up and no it isn't crooked, I am!

As you walk around the tables you come to my cutting area.

I store fat quarters and precuts in these drawers.
I bought this cabinet YEARS ago and I love it.

The other side of the cutting space has another IKEA cabinet.
This one with big drawers, where I keep larger pieces of fabric.
Earlier this year I had wrapped each piece of fabric around an 8.5 X 11 chipboard, then marked how large the piece was.  I organized the drawers by size and it is all neat and tidy.
I plan to do the fat quarters soon.

The light beside it can easily be turned toward the next part-
The hand stitching spot.

(Yep those are the tumblers-all the papers are out, What a MESS!)
Continuing around the room there's the big design wall.
It isn't big enough, sigh.

Then the Telly and book shelves.

All of that got moved from somewhere else!
I was sore for days.
I plan on making pin cushions for that empty shelf.

Then comes the ironing board.

I don't have a small ironing board-well I do but it's in Ceili.
I think it's good for me to get up to do the pressing.

Behind the curtain hiding the foundation below the fireplace is a bookcase with all the messy bits stored on it.
When the curtains are down I don't have to look at all the mess.

The last corner is designated for the doll house.
I haven't worked on it and I see I need to tidy it up!

The best part of this arrangement is that I don't have to look at this!

So there you have it.
It wants some decorations, will have to work on that!
